Welcome Dinner: Learn about St. James, Become a Member

April 21 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

This dinner is a great opportunity for those who are interested in learning more about the history, vision, and people of St. James and would like to possibly become members of the community. It will begin with a simple meal, during which people can make introductions and begin getting to know one another and Father Mayer will share his story. There will then be a presentation on the history and vision of St. James and opportunities to learn how to become more involved by being officially welcomed as registered members of the mission. This event normally fills quickly, so please reserve your spot as soon as possible.

Date and Time: Sunday, April 21, 4-7 PM

Food: Boar’s Head Sub Selections, Chips, Desert, Drinks catered in from Publix. Please let us know of any food allergies or special needs.

Attendees: 12-14 people, most of whom are new to St. James

Agenda: Name tags, welcome, get food and begin eating, go around the table and share short introductions. Fr. Mayer shares his story. Dinner concludes. Short break.  Presentation on the history of the Ordinariate and its mission within the Catholic Church. Presentation on St. James: history, vision, values, and opportunities. Feedback forms. End of gathering

When is the Next Welcome Dinner? These orientation gatherings are scheduled whenever a group of around a dozen or more new attenders and curiosity seekers have shown interest in learning more about St. James.
