About Blessed Carlo Acutis

Though his parents were not particularly religious at first, after Carlo received his first communion, he quickly become a frequent communicant, always praying before the tabernacle before or after every Mass. Such was his devotion, that his love for the Lord Jesus and the Eucharist led his parents to join him. He was known for comforting friends whose parents were going through divorce, defending disables students from bullies, and volunteering time with the city’s homeless and destitute. Though he enjoyed films, comics, soccer, and playing video games, he poured himself into a project of evangelization by creating a website dedicated to cataloguing every reported Eucharistic miracle around the world. He offered his sufferings to God for the intentions of the Pope and then died of leukemia in 2006 at the age of 15.
